This maintenance has been completed.

History:
ImageNow will be unavailable between 5:30 PM – midnight this Thursday, 3/30/17 for migration of the production database to the converged infrastructure.

Logging in/out of Webmail, Skype & Outlook

K-State Help Desk has been getting report of some users having issues logging in to their outlook email client and/or Skype for Business. ITS is aware of this issue and are working to resolve this issue. Further updates will be posted on the K-State ITS Staus page.

ServiceNow Upgrade - 03/23

The upgrade has been completed.

History:

ServiceNow will be upgraded to the Istanbul release on Thursday March 23rd and should finish between 7-8am. No downtime or outages are expected. If you are experiencing any issues, please contact the IT Help Desk.

History:
NTS will be performing network maintenance in Calvin Hall on Tuesday 3/21/17 from 6:30pm - 7:30pm. This maintenance will affect wireless and wired services in the basement and 1st floors of the building.

Seaton Hall - South Wing Power Outage - 03/20 thru 03/25

This Maintenance has been completed.

History:
The Seaton Hall south wing will be without power starting Monday, March 20 at 6am.  Power should be restored on Saturday, March 25 around 8am. Depending on the renovation work being done the power could be on earlier. 

Seaton Hall Power Outage Scheduled - 03/17

This maintenance has been completed.

History:
Facilities has planned a power outage in Seaton Hall for Friday, March 17 from 7am - 8am.

Hale maintenance - 3/22

This maintenance has been completed.

History:
Facilities has scheduled Wednesday, March 22 from 5:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. for electrical switch work in Hale Library.  No power outage is expected, however the Generator will provide power if needed.

Papercut Printing Issue

This issue has been resolved.

The IT Help Desk has received a number of reports about issues with campus printing using Papercut. Information Technology Services (ITS) is working to resolve the issue and apologizes for the inconvenience.

Email Authentication Maintenance - 3/21

This maintenance has been completed.

History:
Information Technology Services updating email authentication system 3/21/17 ITS will start the email authentication maintenance at about 11:59 p.m. During this time, webmail.ksu.edu and email clients — Outlook, MacMail, etc. — may not work. The purpose of this maintenance is to simplify the authentication architecture of Office 365 and improve reliability. We thank you for your patience as we work to improve this critical service.

LDAP Maintenance - 03/20

This maintenance has been completed.

History:
LDAP will be migrated to the Converged Infrastructure at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 20. No authentication interruptions are expected during the move. If you having trouble signing in during the switch, contact the IT Help Desk.

History:
Shibboleth will be moved to the Converged Infrastructure at 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday, March 15. At that time services will be moved to the new server. No authentication interruptions are expected during the move. If you having trouble signing in during the switch, contact the IT Help Desk.

Email Issues

This issue has been resolved.

History:

Users may be unable to view some app launcher tiles within Office365 on the web. Microsoft is working to resolve this issue.

The IT Help desk has received a number of calls about not being able to sign into K-State Webmail, Outlook, and Service-Now email. ITS is working to quickly to resolve the issue.

Network Maintenance - 03/23

This maintenance has been completed.

History:
Network maintenance will be performed March 23, 2017 from 12:00am to 4:00am.  This maintenance will impact connectivity between the Manhattan, Olathe, and Salina campuses, as well as connectivity to the internet.  The service disruption is expected to be in 3-5 minutes periods, during the maintenance window.

This has been completed.

History:
ImageNow will be unavailable this evening from 9:00-9:30 PM for a scheduled production server reboot.

Data Center maintenance 03/09

This maintenance has been completed.

History:
NTS will be performing maintenance in the Data Center on Thursday, March 9th, from 10 p.m. to midnight.  We do not anticipate any disruption to data center services during this maintenance.

Hitachi Maintenance - 03/22

This maintenance has been completed.

History:
Hitachi will be upgrading the software for some of the central enterprise storage systems on March 22 2017 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. This does not affect the catfiles storage system. No downtime is required for this maintenance.
