Email LISTSERV slowness

While working with our e-mail provider, a local configuration error was
discovered and has been corrected. The e-mail queued by LISTSERV is now
being delivered.

K-State Portal release

This change has been postponed until 10  a.m. Friday, September 24.

Revised announcement: The bookmarks feature of the K-State Portal will no longer be available starting at 10  a.m. Friday, September 24, 2010. If you would like a listing of your bookmarks, contact the IT Helpdesk.

Other features such as links to K-State Online, iSIS, eProfile, and a listing of K-State Announcements and Events, are still available. The K-State Portal can be accessed by signing in with your eID and password from the K-State homepage (

Identity management (IDM) database maintanance

This maintenance was successfully completed as scheduled.

The Identity management (IDM) database is moving to the new network
storage. No downtime to LDAP will be experienced. Systems down during
this time will include: eProfile, KEAS Support and PDB Support Tool.

Issue with processing of payments to student accounts

The source of the problem has been resolved and students should not experience errors when making payments to their student accounts through iSIS. If you receive an error, please contact the IT Help Desk.

Current: Issue with processing of payments to student accounts.
Users attempting to make payments to their student account in iSIS may be unable to complete the transaction due to intermittent issues with the Cashnet cashiering system. The vendor has been notified and is working to resolve the issue.

eProfile access using K-State Portal unavailable: Currently, when using the K-State Portal, an error message states that your eProfile information is unavailable due to a web service error. Please access eProfile by going to instead of using the K-State Portal. eID passwords are changed through eProfile.
