Upgrading Trend for Macs

The upgrade has been completed.

Wednesday July 27, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. we will be upgrading Trend for
Macs on the central anti-virus servers to provide compatibility with OSX
10.7, Lion.

History:

Internet connectivity and telecommunications capability will be taken down temporarily for maintenance.

This maintenance has been completed.

History:
K-State Online will be unavailable for a short period on Tuesday, July
26, 7:30am-7:45am for scheduled maintenance. Service will be restored
sooner if possible.

Issues with several K-State services

The issues with several K-State services have been resolved.

History:

Several K-State services are currently unavailable due to a unexpected outage. These include K-State Blogs, the Union website, portions of the K-State homepage and other services. They will be restored as soon as possible.

Jardine Network outage

Jardine connectivity is now restored.

Intermittent unavailability of personal websites

The issues have been resolved.

History:

Some owners of personal websites (www-personal.ksu.edu/~eid) have
reported that their website is unavailable and that they receive an
error message when attempting to access it. ITS is actively working
to solve this issue. To report that your website is unavailable,
please contact the IT Help Desk.

K-State Online/Axio unavailable for patch

The K-State/Axio maintenance is complete.

Telecom services unavailable for database upgrade

Telecom services such as Tahlequah, Telecom Account Management,
and Dial-up Internet will be unavailable on Sunday, July 17 from
6:00am to 8:00am for a scheduled database upgrade. Service will
be restored sooner, if possible

iSIS maintenance scheduled

iSIS will be unavailable for routine maintenance from approximately 6:00 a.m.
until 7:00 a.m. Sunday, July 17th . There is a possibility the maintenance
could be completed sooner. iSIS will be brought back up as soon as the
maintenance is complete.

North campus internet connectivity

North campus internet connectivity issues have been fixed.

History:

There is a problem with a core switch at International Grain that is causing internet connectivity troubles on the north end of campus. Network staff is currently working on the issue.

ImageNow services restored.

History:

Friday, July 8 7pm - Sunday, July 10

Starting at 7pm Friday, July 8th the ImageNow system will be offline for a
complete backup before the upgrade next week. This outage is expected to last
until Sunday evening. The administrators will send an email when the system is
back online.

Maintenance is being performed on the packet filtering device at the
campus Internet border Thursday, July 7th, between 10 PM and 11 PM. A
brief (less than a minute) interruption of Internet service is
expected while routing converges.
