Central File server maintenance

This maintenance has been completed.

Wednesday, October 24, 2012 10:34 p.m.
The Central File server will be rebooted tonight at 10:00pm for NetBackup
maintenance. This reboot may effect access to the central network shares
on platinum, such as Workarea, Home and Apps. This maintenance outage
should only last approximately 15 minutes.

The Sign in button and Connect (connect.k-state.edu) are not fully functioning. We've temporarily hidden all personalized information on Connect. In the meantime, you can access K-State services such as Webmail, K-State Online, iSIS, HRIS using the links on Connect as these services are functioning as expected.

The network team will be performing maintenance on the wireless controllers this Sunday (10/21/12) from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m..  We will be upgrading software, which will require a reboot of the equipment.  Wireless service on campus, the Residence Halls, and Jardine will be disrupted during the reboot cycle.

Wireless Authentication Maintenance

The maintenance has been completed.

We will be doing maintenance on the authentication server for campus wireless at 2:00am Thursday morning. This will not disrupt connected users but will disrupt authentication to wireless for approximately 10 minutes. Wireless authentication will be unavailable from 2:00-2:10am on Thursday morning.
