KEAS upgrade affecting many services

The KEAS database upgrade has been completed.

The KEAS database upgrade is continuing and services will be available as soon as possible.

Services unavailable include:
· KEAS Support
· PDB Support Tools
· eProfile system
· eID registration, including when completing the undergraduate application for admission
· People Search

Please note that WID creation requests from HRIS and iSIS systems will be saved and processed after the upgrade. As a result, provisioning of email and other account access will also be delayed until the upgrade has completed.

Database Server Maintenance

The maintenance has been completed.

Database server that provides service to DARS, Parking, ImageNow, and Famis production applications will be restarted at 10p.m. on Tuesday, November 20. The service interruption should take approximately 30 minutes.

Zimbra issue

The issue has been resolved.

Network Maintenance Notification

The maintenance has been completed.  

History:
Friday, November 16, 2012, 11:34 a.m. 
On Monday, Nov. 19th, from 7 p.m  to 9 p.m. the network team will be resubnetting campus wireless.  The process will cause periodic outages for users that are connected to KSU Wireless and PSK Wireless.  This will not affect KSU Housing and KSU Guest connections.  We are expanding the campus ranges from 3 to 4 regions, with two objectives in mind :

1.) Complete the project of moving campus wireless to the 10.131.x.x range; and
2.) increase the pool of available wireless addresses.

K-State email maintenance

The maintenance has been completed.

K-State Zimbra, including K-State e-mail services, will be intermittently unavailable during scheduled maintenance on Tuesday morning, November 20 from 12:00 a.m. until 1:30 a.m. Users may receive an error message upon sign in during maintenance. Service will be restored as soon as possible.

eProfile Upgrade

This maintenance has been completed.

Transaction Hub Maintenance

The Transaction Hub maintenance has been completed.

The Transaction Hub will be down Sunday, November 4, 2012 for a software upgrade. Events will queue up during the outage and should return to normal levels when services are restored and it is anticipated that any backlog will be processed once services are restored.
