Zoom maintenance

This maintenance has been completed
 

History:

December 10, 2913 at 12:04 P.M.
ITS has scheduled maintenance for Zoom web conferencing services between 7am to 7:30am on Wednesday, December 11. Anyone connected may experience a brief interruption of services. During the maintenance session the K-State hosted Zoom meeting connector services will be moved to Zoom's cloud services to allow maintenance to take place on the hosted K-State server.

Email issues

Information Technology Services staff are working with Microsoft to determine the issue. Zimbra users can send emails successfully but receiving emails could be delayed an hour or more. Office 365 email is working correctly.

The Network Group will be performing hardware maintenance on the Power Plant core router from 5:00 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. on July 25, 2013.  This maintenance is necessary to correct issues with a memory module on the primary supervisor.  During the window, there will be two to three short service interruptions while we initiate fail-overs between the primary and secondary supervisors in the chassis.

ITS is in the process of performing some tests in preparation for the email migration to Office 365. During these tests it is possible that Webmail performance may slow some. The testing is planned to last today, July 11 through tomorrow, July 12. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause and thank you for your patience and understanding.

All other iSIS services will be up and available during this time.

This maintenance outage will not have an impact on staff's ability to log into their computers but access to files on the W drive and Y drive will be disabled for the duration of the maintenance window.

K-State Online video streaming issues

The IT Help Desk has received a number of calls about K-State Online video streaming. We have reports that some outside Internet vendors are still experiencing issues with video streaming. We apologize for any inconvenience.

KSU voicemail issues

This issue has been resolved.

K-State is experiencing voicemail issues. This issue appears to be caused by the notification lights, which have been temporarily disabled. K-Staters need to check their voicemail messages periodically since they will have no indication that they have a voicemail message, however, messages are being delivered.  ITS is working on a solution with the vendor, which might require this week to resolve and apologizes for the inconvenience.

Email issues sending from wireless connections

This issue has been resolved.
