Network Maintenance - Hale Library Infocommons and the University Computing Labs

Wednesday, May 30, 2013, 2:21 p.m.
Friday, May 31st, network maintenance will begin at 8 a.m. for the Hale Library Infocommons and the University Computing Labs. During this time users may notice a slight disruption in network connectivity, but it is only expected to last for a few minutes. During this time Pharos printing will also be unavailable in these locations. The printing outage is expected to be less than an hour.

Network Maintenance - Waters Hall and Waters Annex

This maintenance has been completed.

CTS will be changing a fiber link to Waters Hall and Waters Annex. The maintenance window will occur Thursday, May 30 from 5:30-6:00pm. Network connectivity to campus and the internet will be affected.

Network Maintenance - Forestry/Motor Pool/Grain Marketing

The maintenance has been completed.

CTS will be changing a fiber link to the Forestry, Motor Pool, and Grain Marketing buildings. The maintenance window will occur Wednesday, May 29th from 5:30-6:00 p.m. Network connectivity to main campus and the internet will be affected.

KEAS experiencing slowness

There have been reports of KEAS running slowly. Information Technology Services (ITS) is working to resolve the issue and apologizes for the inconvenience.

Central Authentication Services (CAS) maintenance

The maintenance has been completed.

Central Authentication Services (CAS) maintenance has been scheduled for Wednesday, May 29th from 7:00 to 7:15 a.m. This patch introduces monitoring that will improve the reliability of our Central Authentication Services. There should be no interruptions to services during this update.

DARS emergency maintenance

The maintenance has been completed.

Production DARS (Degree Audit Reporting System) will be unavailable from 8-8:30 p.m. tonight, Tuesday, May 21st, for emergency maintenance.

Dickens lab closure

The lab is now open.

History:

The Dickens computer lab will be closed from Tuesday, May 28th until Friday, May 31st so that the floors can be cleaned and waxed. All other campus computer labs will remain open during this time.

Service Interruption: iSIS Financial Aid Self-Service

The interruption is now complete.

History:
Financial aid self-service in iSIS will be unavailable on Saturday, May 18 th from approximately 6:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Services that will be unavailable includes: viewing financial aid awards, accepting or declining awards, reporting of private scholarships, and viewing the cost of attendance. All other iSIS services will be up and available during this time.

Pharos maintenance

The Pharos maintenance is complete. The summer semester has been set for $5.00 free print.

Systems Down: DARS, FAMIS, and Oracle Financials
