Pharos printing unavailable

The Pharos issue has been resolved and printing services have returned to normal.

At this time, Pharos printing is unavailable. Information Technology Services staff are working to resolve the issue.

Staff are available on the 2nd floor of Hale Library or at the IT Help Desk to print jobs. Please bring your files on a flash drive.

K-State Service Outage

K-State Online, iSIS, K-State web pages, etc. are back online. Information Technology Services staff continue to investigate the reasons for the outage.

At about 6:20, K-State began experiencing service outages (K-State Online, iSIS, K-State home page, etc.), Information Technology Services continues to work on the issue. We apologize for the outage.

Office 365 Activations

The activation of faculty, staff, student and student employee accounts on Office 365 has been completed. At this time, individual issues are being addressed by the IT Help Desk.

Faculty and Staff Office 365 Activations

History:
Friday, Feburary 21 2014, 6:45 p.m.
 
The activation of faculty and staff accounts on Office 365 has been completed. At this time some account data is still being migrated from Zimbra to Office 365. This process is expected to continue for the next several hours. Faculty and staff are now able to access their Office 365 accounts.

ITS is in the process of activating faculty and staff accounts on Office 365. There will be intermittent connectivity for individual accounts as they are activated. Once an account is activated faculty and staff will need to log back in to use their Office 365 account.

Student and Student Employee Office 365 Activations

The activation of student employees, recently admitted students and some former student accounts on Office 365 has been completed. At this time some student email account data is still being migrated from Zimbra to Office 365. This process is expected to continue for the next 24 hours. Students are now able to access their Office 365 accounts.

Zimbra Webmail Latency

This issue has been resolved.

History:
The Zimbra slowness issues that some experienced has been traced to email migration processes. Performance of Zimbra has started to stabilize. It is possible that there will be further periods of slowness through the weekend as migration tasks are completed. We apologize for any inconvenience that this has and may cause.
