Around 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, the Office of Student Financial Assistance finished recreating the remaining financial aid transactions and opened financial aid self-service for student access. Student bills for the month of July were accessible in iSIS Wednesday, July 23, and reflect the most current financial aid awards.

iSIS services were restored at 12:40 p.m. Monday, July 21 for universitywide access. All self-service functions are available, with the exception of financial aid, which will be available as soon as all transactions have been recreated.

Information Technology Services is working with key stakeholders to develop a plan to restore iSIS transactions from July 10-15.
iSIS will be opened for campuswide use after as many transactions as possible have been restored. Again, Information Technology Services appreciates the patience of the campus community as we continue to restore iSIS to the fullest extent possible.

Recently, vulnerabilities in the Cisco ASA products were disclosed, and Cisco has released an update to mitigate the issues. Tonight, beginning at 9 PM, we will be upgrading software on several sets of ASAs. Most of what we are upgrading run in HA pairs, so disruptions will be minimal in most cases 10-15 seconds), as the failover peer will handle traffic while the other unit is being upgraded. The list of firewalls that need to be upgraded are:

VPN
PCI
Olathe
Police
BRI
Athletics
KDA
Some of the ASAs listed will be upgraded earlier or at specific times during the maintenance window to minimize business impact.

UCL/Infocommons Server Restart
The server has been rebooted and the issue is resolved.

We are currently experiencing issues with the file server for the UCL/Infocommons Provisioning Server. We plan to reboot all servers beginning at 3:15pm to resolve the issue. During this time all users using a UCL or Infocommons computer will see their sessions hang up and be unrecoverable. We expect service to be restored around 3:30pm.

Maintenance is expected to take approximately one hour and no outages are expected. Users may notice a brief pause in their session as connections fail over between servers.
