Users are reporting that they are unable to access the Connect page. They receive the following error message:

The page you are trying to reach is temporarily unavailable. Once the page is available, it may be accessed by refreshing your browser. If this problem persists, please contact the IT Help Desk.

ITS Staff are aware of the issue and are working to resolve it.

Isilon Storage Maintenance - 10/27

The upgrade has been completed.

History:
There will be an upgrade to the Isilon Storage Appliance on Thursday, Oct 27th from 5am to 5:40am. No downtime is expected.

Possible services affected: Catfiles, NFS Shares

Student Ambassador Elections Website Issues

This issue has been resolved.

History:

Users are reporting issues going to the Student Ambassador Elections website: http://www.k-state.com/currentstudents/studentambassadors/index.php

They receive the following error message:

"The election System has encountered an unknown error, please log off and try again. If you feel you have reached this message in error, or continue to receive this error, please contact:

IT Help Desk"

ITS Staff are aware of the issue and are working to resolve it.

Qualtrics Sign In Issues

The Qualtrics sign-in page is currently functioning as normal.

History:

Users are unable to sign in to Qualtrics. They receive the error:

"Oops! We encountered an unexpected error while trying to log you in. Please try again."

CAS Update - Wed. 10/19

This maintenance has been completed.

History:

CAS PassThroughs is being updated at 7:30 am Wednesday, October 19, 2016. Webmail and the Career and Employment Services application use CAS PassThroughs for authentication. This update should not cause any downtime, but there is a slight chance for a brief, less than 10 minute, outage. The update should be completed before 8 am.

Commerce Bank Student Union issues - 10/12/16

The issues have been resolved at the Commerce Bank in the Student Union.

History:

Commerce Bank in the Student Union is experiencing technical issues this morning and won't be open till later today. The other two branches in Manhattan are not affected.

Connect release 6:30am-7:30am 10/12/16

This maintenance has been completed.

History:

Connect will be unavailable during this planned release of the new Balances widget. The Balances widget replaces the Housing and Dining widget. All K-Staters will be able to view their balances for meal plans, Cat Cash, and limited free printing in the Balances widget.

Connect release - 8:30pm-10pm 10/10/16

This maintenance has been completed.

History:
Connect will be unavailable during this planned release of the new Courses widget. The Courses widget replaces the KSIS and K-State Online widgets. All K-Staters will be able to access their current semester courses in one place with the Courses widget.

Network maintenance 10pm-Midnight 10/10/16

This maintenance has been completed.

History:
Monday, October 10th, between 10 pm and midnight, ISC staff will be performing sofware upgrades on campus firewalls. In all but one case, firewalls are in HA pairs, so upgrades should not cause any noticeable service disruptions.  In addition, we will be updating the AnyConnect client, so after the maintenance window, those connecting to the VPN services will notice that their AnyConnect client will perform an update shortly after they establish a VPN session.

Network Maintenance - 10/6

This maintenance has been completed.

History:
NTS will be performing maintenance on wireless infrastructure tonight (10/6/16) from 10pm to midnight. We do not anticipate any loss of wireless service during the maintenance. The maintenance will not affect wireless infrastructure in the Residence Halls, Jardine Apartments, or Athletics, or KDA.

K-State Connect and the Connect Bar are unavailable

Connect and the Connect Bar are back and available. The release was rolled back. ITS will continue to analyze and determine why Connect and the Connect Bar went down unexpectedly during the software release.

Connect and the Connet Bar are currently unavailable. ITS staff are aware of the issues and are working to resolve them.

KSIS running slow

This issue has been resolved.

History:

The IT Help Desk is reporting they have had several calls that KSIS is running slow.  IT staff are working on a resolution and we apologize for the inconvenience.

Dickens Hall Network Maintenance - 10/5

This maintenance has been completed.

History:

NTS will be performing emergency network maintenance on switches in Dickens Hall tonight (10/5/16) from 8pm-10pm. The user will experience periodic service outages of both wired and wireless connections during the maintenance period.
