History:
EST and NTS will be performing maintenance on the campus DHCP environment on Wednesday January 4th, 2017 from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m. We do not anticipate any impact to user network connectivity during this maintenance.

Network Maintenance - Wireless Authentication 12/28

This maintenance has been completed.

History:
NTS will be performing network maintenance on wireless authentication on Wednesday, December 28th from 10:00 p.m till 11:00 p.m. No service outage is expected as these appliances work in a failover pair.

Wireless services impacted by this update:
Eduroam authentication – campus wide
KSU Wireless authentication – Hale , Unger, Olathe Campus

Web Server Migration - 12/27

K-State Web Server Migration - Beginning at 10am on Tuesday, December 27th we will be migrating the K-State Web Servers to the converged infrastructure. We do not anticipate any downtime.

Olathe Network Maintenance - 1/16/2017

Network maintenance will be performed on January 16, 2017 from 12:00am to 5:00am, affecting the Olathe campus. Users will experience a disruption in network service to resources on the Manhattan campus and to the internet during this maintenance.

Mediasite

The issue has been resolved.

The issue has been resolved. History: Direct sign-on into Mediasite is currently not working; we are working to resolve the issue. As a workaround, access MyMediasite via your Canvas course in K-State Online. Instructions are at: http://www.k-state.edu/mediasite/help/access-mymediasite.html. Mediasite presentation playback is unaffected. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Network maintenance 12/17

History:
History: NTS will be performing network maintenance in Hale Library on Saturday, December 17th, from 6:30pm to 10:00pm. There will be periodic disruptions to both wired and wireless service during this maintenance.

Webmethods DB Migration - 12/22

This maintenance has been completed.

History:
Beginning at 3pm on Thursday, December 22nd we will be migrating the Webmethods database to a new server. During this time integration services will be unavailable. Connect will also be unavailable at this time. Services should begin to be restored by 7pm on the 22nd.

Mediasite maintenance - 12/20

This maintenance has been completed.

If users are having playback issues please clear the browser's cache.


History:
On Tuesday, 12/20, between 10 a.m. and noon, OME personnel will be working with a vendor to update various Mediasite system software components. Mediasite functionality such as uploading, processing, editing and playback may be unavailable at times during this maintenance window.

This maintenance has been completed History: NTS will be performing network maintenance in Calvin Hall on Saturday (12/17/16) from 8:00am to 8:30am. This maintenance will only affect wired connections. Wireless service will be unaffected. If you experience network issues after the maintenance window, please try disconnecting and reconnecting your network cable, or rebooting your device. If you continue to experience issues, please contact the IT Help Desk for assistance at 532-7222.

PaperCut Maintenance 12/19

This maintenance has been completed. The $10 free printing balances for the Spring semester have been credited to students' PaperCut accounts.

History:
Beginning at 8am on Monday, December 19th we will be migrating PaperCut to a new server. During this time printing will be unavailable in Hale Library, University Computing Labs, the Business Building, and the Residence Halls. Web printing will also be unavailable during this time. Patrons needing to print during this time will need to visit the IT Help Desk for assistance. Services should begin to be restored by noon on the 19th, but some printers may be offline until after the new year.

FIS Reports Maintenance - Monday 12/5

Qualtrics Email Issues

This issue has been resolved.

History:
Qualtrics has informed ITS that Microsoft Outlook and Office 365 are currently blocking all emails from @qemailserver.com. Qualtrics is working with Microsoft on this issue. If you are sending surveys via the Qualtrics email system, please use either no-reply@qualtrics-survey.com or no-reply@qualtrics-research.com as the from email address because Microsoft will not block these addresses.
