Select Qualtrics surveys are being delivered to junk folders instead of inboxes.  Information Technology Services is working with Qualtrics to resolve the issue.  We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.

KSIS Integrations to/from Other Systems

The KSIS upgrade is complete.

History:
The CASHNet-KSIS integration issue was resolved a few minutes ago. CASHNet implemented a change this morning and payments are once again flowing from CASHNet into KSIS student accounts. KSIS-WebMethods communication issues were resolved yesterday afternoon. The systems are still talking to each other today, which means: All KSIS integrations to/from other systems are working again!

KSIS Upgrade July 21-23

Completed: KSIS Upgrade to 9.2 July 21-23
KSIS was successfully upgraded to version 9.2 and re-opened to all users at 7:07 p.m. Sunday, July 23rd. Visit the KSIS 9.2 Resources webpage for an overview of exciting new features, FAQs, videos, troubleshooting tips, and more. If questions, contact the IT Help Desk.
History:
KSIS is unavailable while the system is being upgraded to a new release. KSIS will resume normal operations by Monday, July 24.

To make a payment, go to http://www.k-state.edu/paynow and sign in with the student’s last name and Wildcat ID (WID). Payments made during this time will be reflected on your KSIS student account on Monday, July 24.

After the upgrade, KSIS will have new navigation, personalization options, and mobile-friendly features for iOS and Android devices. Visit the KSIS 9.2 Resources webpage for details.

Network Maintenance for Salina Polytechnic 7/18/17

History:
 NTS will be performing an emergency software upgrade on the routers at the Polytechnic campus in Salina tonight (7/18/17), from 10pm to midnight. During the maintenance window, we anticipate short disruptions in network connectivity as the routers are rebooting.

Converged infrastructure firewalls will be undergoing a change on 07/19/2017 06:00:00 PM CDT. There is potential for services hosted in the converged infrastructure to be disrupted for a short time. IT staff will be monitoring the environment for issues and will work to restore services if issues are encountered.

Info Commons and University Computing Labs

 The issue has been resolved.
History:
The Info Commons and some lab computers that use the use Provisioning Services (PVS) are currently experiencing problems with extreme slowness.  ITS is working to resolve the problem.
Areas that may be impacted include the Hale Library Info Commons, Cardwell 144-145 Labs, Seaton 022 UCL, Seaton Library and Cardwell Library. 

Bomgar not available 07/14

The system is available.

History:
The Bongar system is being updated today, July 14.  It will be available after the update is complete.

Network maintenance - Campus Phone Service 07/14

System maintenance is scheduled on July 14 from 12:01am to 6am. This maintenance could potentially affect Manhattan campus phone services initiated to and from off-campus phone numbers. The maintenance could also affect calling between the Manhattan and Salina campuses. All KSU PD emergency voice services (i.e., 911, blue emergency phone calls, and fire/safety alerts) will not be impacted by this maintenance. In addition to phone services, all network connectivity to Executive Court and the Konza Prairie facility could be impacted during the maintenance window.

NTS will be performing maintenance on the wireless for all of Housing on Wednesday July 12th, 2017 from midnight till 2:00 am.  This maintenance will affect all wireless in Housing buildings.  This maintenance will also affect most of the in room wired ports in the following halls:

Wefald
West

Users can expect intermittent connectivity during this time.

Maintenance was completed.

History:
Electrical Maintenance is scheduled for July 10th from 7:00am to 9:00am in Holtz Hall.  This maintenance will affect anything that uses power.

Email Issues

The email issues have been resolved.

History:

Due to some licensing issues, users may experience some issues with custom settings on mailboxes. Users will still be able to login to Outlook and webmail without issue. However, users may have issues when attempting to setup or change forwarding emails, grant or revoke permissions to calendars and mailboxes, or changing other options for their mailboxes. We are currently working with the vendors to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
