Website Certificate Issues - 9/29/17

The maintenance has been completed.

History:


ITS has been made aware of issues with Website Certificates across multiple K-State systems. Wiki is currently unreachable, and Transaction Hub is unable to communicate with PDB. This may cause some systems to not work properly. ITS Staff is working to resolve the issue.

Emergency Network Maintenance - Regnier Hall - 09/29

This maintenance has been completed.

History:
NTS will be performing emergency network maintenance that will affect both wired and wireless connections on the 2nd floor of Seaton Hall, (Regnier Hall).  This maintenance will be tonight (9/29) from 5:30pm to 8:30pm.

Teval maintenance - 10/02

This maintenance has been completed.

History:
Online Teval will be unavailable on Monday, October 2 from 7am to approximately 10am for an upgrade. We will restore the system sooner, if possible.

Mediasite Maintenance-9/27/17

The maintenance has been completed.  

History:
On Thursday morning, 9/28/2017, between 8:15 and 8:45 a.m., we will implement a change in how the Mediasite media servers communicate with the media storage. This will result in a brief disruption of Mediasite presentation video playback during the maintenance window.

Loss of Power 9/27/17

The outage has been resolved.

History:

Parts of the north side of campus currently has no power.  Some of the buildings being affected include, Waters, Willard,Derby, Bramlage, and Weber.

Holton and Eisenhower Hall Power Outage

Power has been restored to Holton and Eisenhower Hall.

History:

Power will be out for most of the day in Holton and Eisenhower Hall. We hope to have it back working by this evening.

LISTSERV Email Outage - 9/22/17

The LISTSERV outage was resolved.

History:
There was a 15 minute outage for all LISTSERV addresses this afternoon.  If there is any lingering issues send an email to listhelp@ksu.edu

Wireless Maintenance - 9/24/17

This maintenance has been completed.

History:
NTS will be performing maintenance on the wireless in Housing on Sunday (9/24) from 6:00-7:00 AM.  Users could experience intermittent connectivity during this time.

Telecom Maintenance - 9/27/17

The maintenance has been completed.

History:

The Telecom database will be migrated to the Converged Infrastructure (CI) Wednesday, September 27, 2017, between 5 and 10 pm.  All Telecom applications and SMS password resets will be unavailable during this time period.

Vendor bug- most major services are accessible

ITS and a vendor has identified a bug that doesn't handle a certain type of network traffic properly that caused the incident that began about 1:30 pm this afternoon. Currently all major services are accessible, with the exception of ImageNow. ITS apologizes for the inconvenience.

Login issues

Issue has been resolved.

History:
ITS is aware of an issue with KSIS related applications and are working on a resolution.  We appreciate your patience and apologize for the inconvenience.  

Planned Network Maintenance – 9/13/2017

The maintenance has been completed.

History:
ITS will be replacing the firewalls at the campus network core in a maintenance window from 12:01 to 6:00 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13.  This maintenance will not affect the campus internet connection or access to core services hosted in the data center.  Impacted units will be those who have devices that are isolated from the core network by these firewalls.  Those devices will experience one or more network outages during the maintenance window.

Converged Infrastructure VBlock Upgrade 08/28 to 09/08

This maintenance has been completed.

History:
The converged infrastructure VBlock system will be undergoing an upgrade from 08/28/2017 9:00 AM to 09/08/2017. Various components will be upgraded throughout the two week period. It will affect all systems running in the converged infrastructure. No outages are expected, but if it becomes required we will send additional notifications.

Brief Network Interruption 9/7/17

There was a brief outage due to network connectivity.

Wireless Network Maintenace 9 /10

This maintenance has been completed.

History:
NTS will be performing maintenance on the wireless service starting at 8:00 am till 9:30 am Sunday (9/10).  This will be a campus wide maintenance affecting the KSU Wireless and Eduroam SSID’s.  During this time users will experience intermittent connectivity to these two networks.

Housing will not be affected by this maintenance.

Network Mainrenace 9/10

This maintenance has been completed.

History:
NTS will be performing network maintenance that will affect the 2nd floor of Engineering Hall from 7:00am till 8:00am Sunday (9/10).  Users in this area will experience periodic disruptions to both wired and wireless connectivity during the maintenance window

Application maintenance

The maintenance has been completed and the Admissions application is available.

History:
The Admissions application is being updated at 7:30 am and should be available again within 15 minutes. We are sorry for any inconvenience.

Uachieve Maintenance completed.

The maintenance for Uachieve has been completed.

History:
The Uachieve (DARS) system will be down on Sunday, September 3rd, from 8 am to 12 pm for routine maintenance.
