EST is working on network issues that are interrupting services.

Hale Power Outage - 6/02

Hale Library will not have electricity for about 4 hours from 6am-10am on Saturday, June 2, 2018. This outage will allow facilities to install a new transformer.

Electrical Outage Durland Hall - 04/28

The electrical maintenance was completed. History: This Saturday 4/28 from 7am to 7pm Facilities has scheduled electrical maintenance for Durland Hall.

Network Maintenance - Kedzie Hall - 4/29

This maintenance has been completed.

History:
NTS will be performing network maintenance in Kedzie Hall this Sunday (4/29) from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM. This maintenance will affect both wired and wireless connectivity during this time.

Wireless/Eduroam Network Maintenance - 04/29/18

This maintenance has been completed.

History:
NTS will be performing maintenance on campus wireless on Sunday (4/29) from 8:30-10:30 a.m. This service will affect the authentication piece for the KSU Wireless and Eduroam networks. KSU Guest will not be impacted. We also do not expect this maintenance to be service impacting.

Qualtrics Temporarily Down

Qualtrics is now up and running again. Thank you.

FIS Issues

This issue has been resolved.

History:
FIS is currently having issues with its back-end storage. EST is working to restore service.

Dickens Computing Lab Closure

 Lab is now open.

History:
The Computing Lab in Dickens 001 is closed until further notice due to flooding.

HRIS Maintenance - 04/20

The maintenance has been completed.

History:
We are taking HRIS down at 10pm this evening for some regular maintenance. The system will be down starting at 10, for approximately 1 hour.

Software update - 04/17

Upgrade was not successful. Upgrade will be rescheduled. Requested to remove posting.

History:
We will be performing a software update on the Palo Alto firewalls to apply bug fixes Tuesday, April 17, between 10 PM and 11 PM.  No service disruption is anticipated as a result of this maintenance.

Network Maintenance 4/12/18

The maintenance has been completed.

History:
NTS will be performing network maintenance in the Durland, Rathbone, Fiedler, and Engineering Hall complex Thursday (4/12/18) from 10pm to midnight.  Both wired and wireless network connectivity within the complex, and access to the Engineering Data Center resources will be impacted during this window.  Access to Beocat resources will not be impacted by this work.

Service-Now Upgrade - 04/17

The upgrade has been completed.

History:
We are planning to upgrade Service-Now to the Kingston release on Tuesday, April 17th in the morning. It should be finished before 6 AM. As with all Service-Now patches and upgrades, this is an automated process and no downtime is anticipated. Any issues can be reported to the IT Help Desk by calling 785-532-7722, emailing helpdesk@k-state.edu, or submitting the Report an Issue with Service-Now form.

Firewall Maintenance 4/11/18

The maintenance has been completed.

History:
April 11, between 10 PM and 10:30 PM, maintenance will occur on the core firewalls. No service disruption is anticipated as a result of this maintenance

Network Maintenance 4/5/18

Maintenance has been completed. History: NTS will be performing network maintenance on Thursday 4/5/18 from 12:01am to 6:00am. This maintenance will disrupt wired and wireless connectivity on the Manhattan campus, connectivity between the Salina and Olathe campuses, and internet access for all three campuses. Outages are expected to be for short periods of time during the maintenance window.
