Service Interruption - McCain, Fairchild, Nichols, and Thompson 1/21/2019

The maintenance was completed.

History:
McCain, Fairchild, Nichols, and Thompson will have an electrical service interruption on Monday January 21.  The estimated time of interruption is from 6am to 6 pm.  This interruption will affect anything using electricity. 

Wireless Authentication Server Maintenance - 01/13/19

The maintenance has been completed.

History:
NTS will be upgrading the software image on the wireless authentication servers.  The maintenance will begin Sunday 1/13/19 from 6am to 8am.  All authenticated wireless services on the Manhattan and Olathe campuses will be affected by this maintenance.  This includes KSU Wireless, eduroam, and any 'mac auth' devices.  PSK wireless will not be affected. 

KSU Guest wireless will be available during the maintenance window.  It is important to note this is not a secure service, and not recommended for sensitive communications. 

All wireless service in the Residence Halls and Jardine Complex will be affected by this maintenance , including KSU Housing, HDS Guest, and self-registered devices.  

Emergency Light Test Fair Child Hall - 1/11/2019

The testing was completed.

History:
Please be advised that Friday, January 11^th between 4am – 7am, there will be a mandatory Emergency Light Test that requires breakers to be flipped and therefore temporary power outages at Fairchild Hall.  It is advised to power down computers and electrical equipment at the end of your shift on Thursday to avoid any damage.

Mediasite Update - 1/03/19

The maintenance has been completed.

History:
Mediasite will undergo an update on Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 5 a.m. until approximately 9 a.m. Users may experience intermittent interruptions of various Mediasite functions (playback, upload, editing, etc.) during the maintenance window.
