Microsoft Teams Service Unavaliable

Users are unable to access the Microsoft Teams service. 

More info: Users may see an "Oops! Something went wrong..." page when attempting to access the Microsoft Teams service via the desktop client. Web users will receive an error, "500 Internal Server Error."

While we're focused on remediation, users may be able to access the service using the Teams client on a mobile device.

Current status: We've rolled back an incremental build deployed last week, however, this has not provided any remediation. The next focus of our investigation is with some Azure authentication components. 

Scope of impact: Impact is specific to a subset of users who are served through the affected infrastructure.

Digital Signage Upgrade

The upgrade has been completed.

History:

Starting at 10 this morning we will be upgrading digital signage. There may be brief periods where the digital signage content manager will not be available for the end-users. Everything should be back to normal by early afternoon.

Campus Surveys

On Friday, February 8th, the Basic Need 2019 survey,  will be sent out to the K-State Campuses this is a legitimate email from K-State.


On Tuesday, February 12th, the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) survey will be sent to K-State students this is a legitimate email from K-State.

Can't sign in issues

ITS has implemented a temporary fix to the SSO issue. If you have any issues or questions please contact the IT Help Desk.

The IT Help Desk has received a number of calls about not being able to sign in. ITS staff are working to resolve the issue and apologizes for the inconvenience.

Burt Hall Electrical Power Maintenance - 01/30/2019

The maintenance has been completed.

History:

The outage will affect anything using electricity such as computers, servers, lighting, heating, air conditioning and more.

The purpose of the maintenance is to replace antiquated electrical panel; this requires a full building shutdown to add the new cable into the new main distribution system. We anticipate the outage to last less than one hour, but have turned in for 1.5 hours (5:30 PM to 7:00 PM) just in case.
