Password Changes Unavailable

The issue has been resolved, users may need to clear the cache before attempting to change their password.

Password changes for eID's are temporarily offline, we are working to resolve this issue.

Canvas Maintenance - 07/26

The maintenance is complete.

A Canvas maintenance event is scheduled for Friday, July 26. The maintenance will begin at 11 p.m. and will last up to 6 hours. This maintenance event will affect the ability to upload new media and subtitles to our media servers. During this time, users will continue to be able to access previously uploaded videos and captions.

Upgrades have been postponed.
ITS is planning upgrades in the Data Center tomorrow at 10:30 a.m.  No downtime is expected.  If you are experiencing issues contact the IT Help Desk.

Network Maintenance West Hall - 7/24

Maintenance has been completed.

NTS will be performing networking maintenance in the West Hall on Wednesday (7/24) from 7pm to Thursday (7/25) at 12am.    This will cause an outage for all Wired and Wireless connectivity to Housing and Dining Buildings as well as the Center for Child Development as maintenance tasks are being performed during this window.   This will not affect main campus connectivity.

Wireless maintenance - 7/21

The maintenance has been completed.

NTS will be performing wireless maintenance on campus on Sunday 7/21 from 8:00 AM to Noon.  This maintenance will only affect campus buildings will not include equipment located in Athletics and Housing and Dining Services.  No downtime is expected during this maintenance.

Office365 Mail Service Issues 7/19/2019

As of 1 p.m. Microsoft resolved the Office365 mail issue.

Microsoft has reported issues with Office365 mail services. Users may experience problems with their email until the issues are resolved on their end.

Microsoft's next update on the Office365 mail service issues will be at 12:30 P.M.

Password Reset delay - 07/16

The issue has been resolved.

We are currently experiencing long delays in the password reset process.  ITS is currently working towards resolving this issue as soon as possible.  We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause.

Lansweeper scan Wednesday(7/10)- Thursday (7/11)

 Scan Has Been Completed

iTAC Client Services will be performing a Lansweeper scan of the PSK network from Wednesday(7/10) 8:00 AM to Thursday (7/11) 6:00 AM.

No issues are expected.

Hale Library Power Outage July 13 2019

The maintenance was completed.

Power will be shut down to Hale Library for panel work on July 13 at approximately 7 a.m. to provide safe access to the high voltage distribution panels throughout the facility. The contractor will be adding panel grounds and removing the temporary leads that were installed to connect the facility to the generators.  The outage is expected to last about 3-4 hours. Generator power will be available beginning at 6:30 am.

Seaton Hall Wireless Maintenance - 6/25

The maintenance has been completed.

NTS will be performing wireless maintenance in Seaton Hall on Tuesday (6/25) from 9:00 pm – 11:00 pm. This maintenance will affect wireless connectivity intermittently throughout the building during this time.

The maintenance has been completed.


NTS will be performing maintenance on campus wireless on Tuesday (7/2) from 9:00 PM – 11:00 PM.  This service will involve the authentication piece for KSU Wireless/Eduroam/KSU Housing networks. 

No outages are expected during this maintenance.

DUO Interuptions 6/28/2019

Issue has been resolved

Due to Verizon outages in the area those on Verizon services will not be able to get the push notifications to log into there accounts.  Current ways to bypass this issue will be to turn off your cellular data and use a WIFI network or call into the help desk for a bypass code.
