Temporary Navigate App Issues (08/27/2021)

We are aware that the Navigate Student App that students use to manage classes and Advising appointments is currently having issues with incorrect times and classes appearing on some students schedules. The issues is being investigated, and more information will be posted when it becomes available.

FIS Maintenance (08/21/2021-08/22/2021)

 This maintenance has been completed.

History:

The Financial Information System (FIS) will be unavailable from 6 p.m. Saturday, August 21, through 6 p.m. Sunday, August 22. Once the maintenance is complete, FIS will be available for your use.

Single Sign on Issues 8/15/2021

 The SSO issue has been remedied.

History:

Currently SSO is unavailable ITS is aware of the issue and working to resolve the issue.

Network Maintenance (Polytechnic - Manhattan) (08/18/2021)

The maintenance has been completed. 

History:

Maintenance will be performed on the fiber path between the Polytechnic and Manhattan campuses on August 18, 2021, from 12:01am to 5:00am.  At various times during this window,  network traffic between the two campuses will be impacted.

Network Maintenance Olathe - Manhattan (08/17/2021)

The maintenance is complete.

History: 

Maintenance will be performed on the fiber between the Olathe and Manhattan campus on August 17, 2021, from 12:01am to 6:00am.  A brief outage in connectivity between the campuses is anticipated as traffic is shifted to an alternate path.

Network Maintenance (08/18/2021) - Salina Campus

WHEN: Wednesday, August 18th 

DURATION: 12 am to 5 am

DETAILS: KanREN transit providers will be doing some live fiber splicing

maintenance in the Salina region. This will affect some services leased by

KanREN for member site connectivity.

The following KanREN member sites will see a disruptions to connectivity during

the outlined window:

Kansas State University - Salina Campus

Network Maintenance (08/04/2021) - Olathe Campus

The maintenance has been completed.

History:

On Thursday (8/5) from 5:00PM - 7:00PM Networking will be performing maintenance on equipment at the Olathe campus that supports both wired and wireless.  Intermittent outages are expected throughout the complex during the maintenance window.

KanRen Network Maintenance (08/13/31) - CANCELLED

This maintenance has been cancelled

History:

KanREN transit providers will be doing some live fiber splicing maintenance in the Salina region on Friday, August 13th at 00:00 until 05:00. This will affect some services leased by KanREN for member site connectivity.

HRIS, KSIS, DARS Maintenance - (08/08/2021) - Cancelled

This maintenance has been cancelled.

History:

HRIS, KSIS, and DARS will be unavailable from midnight – 4 a.m. on Sunday, August 8. Maintenance will be performed on the Oracle PeopleSoft systems.
